gonna get punk as fuck tattooed on my eyelids. i just picked up please kill me (seminal book on nyc punk) which also features mclaren... interesting because he was ultimately a businessman, and people dismiss him for that, but i think that he was also an artist-- he believed in shaking shit up and taking back society for the people and out of the hands of faceless hypercapitalism. he shall be missed, but you know what this means: an empty spot at the head of the table -- for us.
